Gaudí & Barcelona

Barcelona has gorgeous architecture, much of which is heavy influenced by the famous Spanish artists Antoni Gaudí. Gaudí's unique style is very playful/whimsical while being incredibly detailed at the same time. Elizabeth and I saw many of his works throughout the city but were able to visit both the Park Güell and the Sagrada Familia Church.
I have always loved mosaic art, but the Park Güell brings it to a whole different level. If only I could have brought of piece of it home with me!
Even though I'm not the least bit religious, I must say this church is both gorgeous and amazing. The detailed design of this unfinished building is absolutely remarkable. I can't even begin to imagine what it will look like once it is complete.
